Well as this was my very first attempt its a bit weird to pass on tips isnt it. I just had this idea and thought about how to do it in a playset style or way. Did a rough with cardboard (just slices of boxes from the supermarket), painted it white for a first impression. Arranged some figures. Once I was satisfied with that I bought the respective figures loose on ebay, painted them, chopped the wampas head of and all that. For the snowy impression I took crumbeled caper, softed it in cement and glue and molded the little landscape. After it dried I painted it with thick acrylic paint which is pretty cool cause you can use it to create structure with the paint, and acrylics dry off pretty fast. Hm thats about it. Takes a little bit of time though AND we have the CUSTOMS CORNER area where some guys show their cool figures. Check it out:

Bevor wir einfach nur die Siegerbilder posten, ein kleines Vorwort. Der Wettbewerb hat gegenueber dem Vorjahr stark an Ideen und Qualitaet zugelegt. Alle haben sich maechtig ins Zeug gelegt, was das Vorjahr in keinster Weise abwerten soll, im Gegenteil, (uns machten nur die Einsendungen es nicht einfach zu einer Entscheidung zu kommen) es zeigt das es den Teilnehmern doch Spass bereitet hat, darum geht es ja, Spass mit eurem Hobby zu haben, und als kleinen Dank halt ein paar Preise. Ein Problem was wir hatten war jedes Bild einzeln als eigenstaendiges Bild zu werten und zu betrachten. Was bei den Geschichten dann halt nicht einfach war, da man diese im Zusammenhang sehen muss, womit eine Einzelwertung fast unmoeglich ist. Was uns auf die Idee brachte vielleicht in Zukunft dann mal einen anderen Wettbewerb auszurufen (Hinweis). Nun danken wir allen Teilnehmern, hier die Gewinner:
Before we just post the winners, let me start with a few thoughts. The contest picked up on ideas and quality compared to the previous year, which in no way should talk down entries from the last year, but it goes to show that you guys put a lot of thought and effort into your work, which is good. But it also shows that you enjoyed what you were doing, and that's what it is about, have fun with your hobby, and well get some prizes for it. One issue we had with the photo stories. We had to look at and judge each photo individually which is nearly impossible to do as those stories mostly only work as a whole. That however gave us another idea for a possible future contest (hint). We would like to thank everybody who took part in this and here are the winners:

If the second or third place winners preferred the 6" Slave Leia, I'd much prefer Greedo or Han Solo 6" if they wanted to ask the contest admins to swap those before prizes ship.
I'd also much prefer the Vintage Darth Vader that Fourth Place gets, if they wanted to trade for the 6" Slave Leia before prizes ship, if that's even an option, of course.
I'd rather see somebody who wants that Slave Leia get that figure instead somehow.

Yeah, if the contest organizers are okay with it, I'd love that Vader because I already have a Greivous or two or three. It's a nice version of him, but I have that one.

Every entry will be recognized and rewarded, in one way or another. I think we all enjoyed this contest, and all entries were great.
