LOS ANGELES, July 24, 2021 – Today, during the Legendary Comics 2021 and Beyond! virtual San Diego Comic-Con@Home Panel, actor Oscar Isaac surprised fans from the set of his latest television series to introduce the creative team of his upcoming original graphic novel Head Wounds: Sparrow. Originally announced at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con@Home, fans were treated this year to a special in-depth conversation with panelists Bob Johnson, John Alvey, Jason Spire, Brian Buccellato and Christian Ward, moderated by Legendary Comics’ SVP Robert Napton. The creative team divulged further details regarding the origin, mythology, and the process behind creating the original supernatural noir graphic novel. Viewers were also given an exclusive first-look tease at the artwork of Head Wounds: Sparrow.

A new Shudder Original anthology film, Horror Noire made its Comic-Con debut with a panel moderated by writer/editor/speaker Ashley C. Ford, and featuring anthology writers Tananarive Due, Steven Barnes, Victor LaValle and Shernold Edwards as they shared the inspiration behind their stories and how they go about adapting them for different formats, as well as why now is an important time to tell these stories.

Premiering August 12 on Shudder, Slasher: Flesh & Blood follows a wealthy but dysfunctional family that gathers for a reunion on a secluded island only to learn they?ll be pitted against one another in a cruel game of life and death, all while being stalked by a mysterious masked killer. Nothing is what it seems, and no one is safe as the tension- and the body count- ratchets up. As with the past installments of the series, Slasher: Flesh & Blood will combine elements of traditional murder mystery with the intense horror and bold kills that audiences have come to expect.
Today, Friday, July 23, STARZ released a sneak peek and character art for the upcoming original drama series Heels, at Comic-Con@Home following a virtual panel with series stars, Stephen Amell, Alexander Ludwig, Alison Luff, Mary McCormack, Kelli Berglund, James Harrison, Allen Maldonado, Chris Bauer. The cast was joined by writer, creator and Executive Producer Michael Waldron and Mike O?Malley who also serves as Executive Producer. Heels premieres worldwide on Sunday, August 15 across all STARZ platforms, including at 9 PM ET/PT on STARZ in the U.S. and Canada.
Written and created by Executive Producer Michael Waldron (?Loki,? the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) with Executive Producer Mike O?Malley (?Shameless,? ?Survivor?s Remorse?) as showrunner, ?Heels? stars Stephen Amell (?Arrow?) as Jack Spade, with Alexander Ludwig (The Hunger Games, ?Vikings?) playing his younger brother, Ace. Apple TV+ today debuted the season two trailer for its action-packed, post-apocalyptic drama series, ?See,? starring Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista and Alfre Woodard. The eight-episode second season will debut globally on Friday, August 27, 2021 on Apple TV+ with the first episode, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.
?See? is set in a brutal and primitive future, hundreds of years after humankind has lost the ability to see. In season two, Baba Voss (Momoa) is struggling to reunite his family while protecting them as the threat of war looms between the Kingdom of Paya and the Trivantian Republic. Despite his best efforts, his wife and sighted children are pulled to the forefront of the conflict, where they come to the attention of his estranged brother, Edo Voss (Bautista), a powerful and cunning Trivantian General, whose long-simmering hatred for his brother imperils them all even further.
