Vice President Art Direction & Design of DC Comics Mark Chiarello kommt als besonderer Gast zur Heroes Dutch Comic Con
We are thrilled to announce Mark Chiarello as our special guest at Heroes Dutch Comic Con. He is the Vice President Art Direction and Design of DC Comics. As a freelance illustrator,
he has received the comic book industry's Eisner, Harvey, and Reuben Awards. Mark has also done freelance illustration for Lucasfilm, Disney, Universal Pictures, Criterion Films, Carhartt Clothing, DC and Marvel Comics and many more.
Mark Chiarello will be present on both days on Heroes Dutch Comic Con. We have a
very exclusive opportunity for comic book artists. They can submit their portfolio to get a chance to have it reviewed by Mark Chiarello. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Mark Chiarello will visit the Utrecht Jaarbeurs on 24 and 25 November as a special guest of Heroes Dutch Comic Con. His presence is for many a reason to visit the event, but the chance to bring work to his attention and get reviewed is a dream come true for comic artists.
Mark's work is well known and has been awarded several times. He has collaborated on projects such as Batman / Houdini: The Devil's Workshop, where he won a National Cartoonists Society Award for Best Comic Book in 1983, and Clive Barker's Hellraiser. He was also the first colorist of Mike Mignola's comic book Hellboy, Seed of Destruction. Chiarello's work was also featured in Star Wars: The New Essential Chronology. In addition, he also worked on Marvel's Wolverine and The Many Armors of Iron Man.
As Vice President Art Direction & Design of DC Comics, he determined the representation of various comics. It is therefore a special opportunity for comic illustrator to have their portfolio assessed by Mark and perhaps to be discovered by DC Comics. Come to Heroes Dutch Comic Con on November 24 & 25th and hand in your portfolio!
